Accepting Applications for Volunteer Commissions

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the City of Roseburg is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the following advisory commissions to the City Council:
Planning Commission: Meets at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month to consider long and short range land use development issues within the City and Urban Growth Boundary. Applicants must reside within the City limits or the Urban Growth Boundary.
Historic Resource Review Commission: Meets at 3:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month to study and make recommendations relating to regulatory controls and administrative procedures for the preservation, beautification and enhancement of the value of historic districts, buildings and sites. Applicants must either reside within the City or own business/property within the City.
Public Works Commission: Meets at 3:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month to provide long-range planning and financing of capital improvements including sidewalks, streets, lighting and storm drainage; considers rules governing operations of the City’s water and storm drainage system, consider/prepare plans for long-range operation and management of each system, consider system improvements and rate structure. Applicants must either reside in the City or own property or business within the urban service boundary (a water service customer).
