NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING PROPOSED EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITIVE BIDDING - ROSEBURG LIBRARY IMPROVEMENTS

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that at its regularly scheduled meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018, the Roseburg City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of taking comments on the draft findings for an exemption from competitive bidding requirements for a public improvement contract valued above $125,000.  If adopted, the exemption would allow issuance of an RFP (request for proposals) for a CM/GC (construction manager/general contractor) to perform the contract.

The contract being considered for exemption and alternative process is a construction contract to perform improvements to the City library. 

Prior to taking such action, the Council will conduct a public hearing to provide interested parties and the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed action.  After hearing such comments, the Council will consider the adoption of a resolution adopting findings to support the proposed exemption.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING THE PROPOSED EXEMPTION FROM COMPETITION IN PUBLIC CONTRACTING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, at its regularly scheduled meeting at 900 S.E. Douglas Avenue, Roseburg, Oregon at 7:00 p.m. on February 26, 2018, the Roseburg City Council will hold a public hearing for the purpose of taking comments on the draft findings for an exemption from competitive selection requirements for an architectural/engineering services contract valued at an estimated fee of greater than $100,000.  If adopted, the exemption would allow direct appointment of Pivot Architecture, Inc., to perform the contract.

The contract being considered for exemption and special award is an engineering services contract for providing construction management services for the Library Improvement Project. 

Prior to taking such action, the Council will conduct a public hearing to provide interested parties and the public an opportunity to comment on the proposed action.  After hearing such comments, the Council will consider the adoption of a resolution adopting findings to support the proposed exemption.
