City seeks volunteers for homeless needs committee

Roseburg, OR – Applications are still being accepted from people who may be interested in joining the new City Manager Homeless Immediate Needs Ad Hoc Committee. 

The committee will identify and work to address immediate needs of the homeless community living in Roseburg. The committee will report to the city manager, who will provide updates to the Homeless Commission.

Committee meetings will be scheduled based on identified needs and the selected members’ availability.

This committee will consist of eight to 12 members, with a member of the Homeless Commission serving as chair. Members will be appointed by the city manager.

The positions will be open until filled.

Meetings of the Homeless Immediate Needs Ad Hoc Committee are not subject to public meetings law and will not be open to the public.
