Roseburg Public Library to close temporarily

ROSEBURG, Ore. – Roseburg Public Library will temporarily close later this month while the building’s boiler is replaced.

The library will be closed to the public from Tuesday, Jan. 17 through Friday, Jan. 20, according to Library Director Kris Wiley. All programs, including Storytime, have been canceled during that time. Library staff will provide limited reference services by email at library@cityofroseburg.org.

The library will resume regular operations Saturday, Jan. 21. The library is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Patrons may return all library items at any time in the outside book drop, which is located in the northwest corner of the parking lot.

The library’s digital platforms remain available 24/7. Thousands of electronic books and audiobooks are available for readers of all ages through cloudLibrary and Libby. Each library cardholder may check out up to three items on cloudLibrary and six items on Libby at one time.
