Traffic congestion expected on Aviation Drive

ROSEBURG, Ore. – The Roseburg Public Works Department encourages drivers to use caution on Aviation Drive starting Thursday, Nov. 10, as a new restaurant opens.

Residents who want to eat at In-N-Out Burger at 2844 Aviation Drive on opening day and beyond are urged to access the restaurant by approaching Aviation Drive from NW Stewart Parkway.

All drivers should expect traffic congestion to be heavy at times. Flaggers will direct traffic on Aviation Drive to help ease congestion.

“To minimize traffic congestion, it is requested that In-N-Out customers access the location using Aviation Drive from Stewart Parkway,” said Public Works Department Design/Construction Manager Ryan Herinckx. “Please use caution when driving through the area.”

Traffic control will be provided for at least several days as congestion is expected to continue during the restaurant’s opening week.

Being a private business, In-N-Out Burger was required to submit a traffic control plan that had to be approved by the Public Works Department and to provide private traffic control personnel.
