Officers contacted Shippy after he allegedly walked into Del Taco, pulled out a knife, and told an employee to give him money. Shippy allegedly then told the employee he was just joking; the employee told Shippy to leave, which he did. He was contacted and detained without issue; he allegedly admitted to pulling the knife out but claimed he did not try to rob anyone. During questioning, he confessed to another theft he committed earlier in the day at Dutch Bros. |
