Library to host artificial intelligence talk

ROSEBURG, Ore. – Roseburg Public Library invites the community to "An Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" presented by Brandon Ellery at 12 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 10.

Ellery is a project leader and systems builder who helps people and organizations use artificial intelligence (AI) to create structure, clarity and momentum in everyday life. After years in culinary leadership and project management, he began using AI to organize his own family’s world — streamlining schedules, goals and decision-making. The results were transformative: more focus, less friction and space for what truly matters.

Now, as an AI Concierge, Ellery helps others achieve the same — bridging technology and humanity to make AI accessible, personal and purposeful. His mission is simple: to show that AI isn’t here to replace people; it’s here to strengthen rhythm, restore time and amplify purpose.

The free presentation, which will be held at the library at 1409 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd., will focus on the following:

  • Best practices for AI. This includes AI for small business and practical AI uses for daily life.
  • Emotional awareness in relation to AI.
  • Strategies for protecting young people from potential misuse or being misled by AI.
  • The environmental impacts of AI.
  • Addressing common misconceptions, such as, "AI is going to replace us."
