Minor Disclaimer

The Parks & Recreation Department does not allow minors ages 13 and older to volunteer unless as part of youth groups, school groups, or as part of an organization hosted volunteer event, provided that a parent or legal guardian signs the Volunteer Application and Liability Release Form. All minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult during their vounteer hours at a ratio of 1 adult for every 5 youth (1:10 for teachers/students).
