Downtown business survey emailed

RoseburgAdmin

ROSEBURG, OR – The City of Roseburg sent out a survey to downtown business owners Wednesday, April 13, to gather information about a possible new downtown business organization.

The survey is being emailed to owners of businesses primarily in the downtown core. Business owners’ input is being sought as City officials prepare to put out a request for proposals from candidates who may be interested in running an organization to replace the Downtown Roseburg Association, which recently closed.

Questions include whether businesses want a new downtown business organization, what services would be expected, business owners’ level of participation and willingness to pay a membership fee, funding options and more. The deadline for turning in the survey is Friday, May 6.

City Communications Specialist Suzanne Hurt has been working on an updated business email contact list for the survey, but the list may be incomplete. If you’re a downtown business or property owner who’d like to be added to the list and get a copy of the survey, send your business name, street address and email address to shurt@cityofroseburg.org.

The downtown business contact list may also be used to email other information such as downtown-related press releases to business owners.
